Not dinged, not accepted. I have a bad feeling I am headed to the WL pile...
Patagonia - like you, I am also a re=applicant..and haven't heard anything yet..keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to all those waiting and congrats to everyone who got in.

Guys, just now got an email from Kellogg I am in. Like you, I am also a re-applicant from last year. Last year I was waitlisted in R1 but finally after a loooooooong wait I got the much awaited email. :)

So hang in there. All the best

Great news indeed! Congratulations!

Jumping ahead of myself, but I am curious if anyone has found any stats on the waitlist from previous years? The only thing I saw when I googled the other day was something from 2002. How many usually are placed on it? How many usually get in? When do you hear by?

I'm assuming that since status changes online happen only at 3:30AM CST, there's no benefit to checking status throughout the day?

2Y applicant here. Waiting. Interviewed in late November.
I am beginning to wonder if there are only a handful of people (less than 15%) now waiting for decisions

Good point. I've been checking throughout the day, but maybe it's time to stop.

Kellogg says yes! Just got the call and email from Deena.

<---- profile.

Good luck to the rest of you that are waiting, hang tight and stay positive. Take the advice from someone who had needlessly given up hope.

Shoot if you have any questions.

I am planning to apply for round 3. I have heard that its a myth that round 3 applicants are usually not accepted. I have also heard otherwise. which one is true?

When I went to a Kellogg info session, the adcom member who was there (her name escapes me now) literally said not to bother applying in round 3. Obviously some people must be accepted in round 3, but I was surprised that she would come out and say that, especially since adcoms don't typically make strong statements like that. I think it's pretty telling.

I went to an info session and the adcom made the exact same statement. I was surprised -- usually they'll tell you to avoid it if possible, but she basically said it's not worth it, haha.

I only got the email but no call. Is it a good idea to call them straight away to get more information like KelloggID etc. or should I just wait for my packet to arrive ? Sorry for repeating this but how can I know about the scholarship details? The email is completely silent about it :?:

Someone posted it a few pages back, but to paraphrase, It says:

"Thanks for applying ... [ blah blah blah]"
"You are great .... [ blah blah blah ], but so was everyone else [ blah blah blah ]."

Best,
Kellogg

No harm in calling I think - I called to speak with Deena to get my login details and she was very accomodating.

Sorry, no idea re: scholarships.
