Just go the call! I'm in!!! Was shaking the whole time she talked so I barely remember what she said past "congratulations..."!

Got the call on my work #, which was unexpected. Been glued to my blackberry for the past days. Here are my stats: F/680/3.85 top US public/WE 1 mgmt consulting/WE 2 brand mgmt. Since Kellogg was the only school I applied to I was able to spend a ton of time on my app. Essays were critiqued by 4 Kellogg current students/alum. 1 letter of rec was from Kellogg alum (direct supervisor).

Best of luck to those still waiting. I hope it helps to know that they're still making calls this week!

Hey djknif, Washington DC here too. Lets assume they are calling geographically ;-)

During my admissions call last Friday I asked the rep why some people were called on Wednesday, some on Friday, and some still waiting. I told him that I was awaret that people had been getting calls in large numbers since Wednesday and that I had been going crazy for two days. He laughed and said that they actaully read these blogs sometimes (interesting/scary). He said that we give them way too much credit for their decision communication methodologies. He said that they have a stack of admitted applicants. The admissions staff splits them up and works through their respective piles as quickly as possible. I happened to be in the Friday stack and that I shouldn't read any further into it.

I like to think that I willed my admit into existence by obsessively checking blogs and status page. I guess I was just in the Friday stack.

Hmm - I love that response! It definitely helps when wondering about these things tho I did get my call on the wednesday) but for ppl waiting it should keep many reassured that they're working thru that pile and hopefully a lazy, slow worker has your file and didnt get to it yet

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I'm so deliriously happy right now! The president of the division walked in to ask about some back-up info he needs for the Board mtg tomorrow and I literally had to ask him 3x what he wanted. Oops!

As for my status on the check application page, it still says "All the required elements of your application are complete."
