Some day very close to Sept 24. So it means I still have to wait right?
Yes, I think so. I plan to start worrying if I don't get any invite by early November. That said, I have no idea how many of R1 applicants here already got their invites.

I submitted close to the deadline too, but it is clearly mentioned on the kellogg's site that it will take 6-8 weeks to schedule an interview after submission.

Submitted early on 10/10/10. Since my interview is done, all I have to do is wait for a result. I definitely like Kellogg's approach to applications :) Good luck GMATclubbers!

I am in the same boat as you.

Do you know if you get any kind of notification to confirm that your interviewer has sent the interview report?

I don't think so. I interviewed on campus with a member of admissions and I didn't get any e-mail afterwards. I also did not get notices about recommenders submitting successfully, even though they did. I am not worried.

I got my interview assignment today. I submitted Part I on the 24th.

I noticed from last year's thread that folks got notified of admission decisions way before the decision deadline (starting 1st or 2nd week of December, while deadline was January 11).

Since the decision deadline was pulled into December 20th, I wonder if we'll find out any sooner...

(already getting nervous... great  )

I don't have any official info from admissions on the timing this year, but from what I know of the process I wouldn't expect them to be in a position to release decisions any earlier than last year. My guess is they moved up the date into December to reflect the fact that for the past few years they've been able to release a majority of decisions in December anyway.

Thanks Jerz. I figured as much - just wishful thinking on my part, hehe. I'm actually happy about the 12/20 date. Whether the outcome is good or bad, that's one less distraction over the holidays...

You've neglected to account for the specter of... "wait-list"

My approach: it can't hurt you if you pretend it doesn't exist... j/k. As agonizing as a WL would be, I'll take it over a ding any day.

I could be wrong, but as a reapp from last year, I recall being notified on notification day closer to the 18th of December, not in the middle of January. I don't think they have pulled it in this year.
