Looks like it was a brutal morning for everyone. I got the same bad news as well with an e-mail to check status, -Dinged, Interviewed Jan 2011. Good luck to everyone else.

Seems like only dings are being rolled out today....am in Indian MMM applicant...still waiting to hear anything...interviewed on 10th March...hopes fading away real quick now.... :(

Congrats to all admits...
and for (fellow?) dings, keep your hopes up..if it's not another school, think about all you've learned throughout this process...you'll sure have an edge over first-time applicants next time you apply...

Nothing from the K today...does that necessarily mean I have one more day on the island? :)

So it looks like today is the day for international applicant based out of the US? I am an international applicant based in the US.... Interviewed Jan 25th. Extremely nervous now :( This waiting game is crazyyyyyy

To those who have gotten the call - Congratulations!!!
To those who have gotten the ding - I know how painful it is... MIT was a dream of mine since childhood and I got my first ding from them - it hurts when you get knocked from a school you love. Hopefully you find other even better options though so stay positive!

For those of us still waiting for Kellog...
From what I can tell, here's how the Kellogg routine works:
9:50 Eastern time, Kellogg sends it's email dings to the world.
12 PM Eastern time, Kellogg begins it's round of calls for the day.

So if you haven't gotten the ding yet today, don't be discouraged, that's just a higher probability that you'll get the call today.

Best of luck to everyone both at Kellogg and elsewhere!

I'm also an Indian candidate based in India. Gave a telephonic interview on March 10th and also requested for an
early decision since I have an offer from the Indian School of Business.

It might be hard to believe but I am actually hoping for a ding, since I have already resigned from my job, packed my bags and booked my tickets.

But all I see is "All the required elements of your application are complete." .......... :?

Ps last year 3 gc Austin scholarships went out on same day. Maybe they have left us all waiting so they can reward us with scholarships.

Ding for me. :( I thought that this was my strongest app and best interview, but I guess it wasn't good enough. Losing hope and feeling like more bad news from other schools is on the way... This whole process has been brutal.

Thanks Jock4MBA. Have you heard back from Kellogg yet? Did you apply to LBS as well? I don't keep my hopes up for next week. These two schools were really a reach for me. At least I'll have more time to put my applications together this fall and I'll be able to apply to R1...
