I dun know of anyone who got a waiver and got admiited.

I do.

I've said it before and will say it again: waivers have nothing to do with the quality of your application. Many times waivers are given before anyone even reads the application. It's purely a function of interviewer supply and demand. If, after reading your application, the adcom thinks it would be helpful to interview you, they will set up a phone interview.

I'm in for R2!

BTW, do you know how the Recommendation letters work at Kellogg?

From other schools I can see that there is usually a list of questions that they want answered by the recommender but I don't see that information on the Kellogg page anywhere...do they just want a generic letter?

I'm trying to get that information to my recommendation writers first...

Does anyone know where the questions are for the letter of recommendations? I can't seem to find the PDF or questions that needs to be answered on the application at all. If you know where it is located can you please post or send me a PM? Thanks

Please add me to R2 btw. Good luck to everyone~

It's in Part I, under "Downloadable Forms." Not the most intuitive place for it to be, either.

So I have done two interviews so far...its strange being across the table from you guys. My advice is be prepared with examples and also have school specifics ready. Please if you are leaving your job for two years of schooling and a lot of debt...have an idea of what you want to do afterwards and be ready to talk about it in specifics.

Out of curiousity -How many interviews are you planning to do ? Are alums limited to doing a certain number of interviews ?

The way I see it, if Kellogg does not take the interview at all, its a +ve if the other parts of your application are strong..the weightage from 20.20.20.20.20 will become 25.25.25.25

If they choose to take a telephonic interview (which I feel they will later for candidates who they want to admit), there will be no difference..

Can anyone whet this?

Desi bhai log, they can't reject all Indians based in India .. we're usually a pretty competitive bunch!

I dont think it is anything in such pure numbers, it is as far as I know, the way they put it, if they are interested in you, they will interview you nevertheless. So lets wait and watch.

I second the thought above...I had my interview at the Borders coffee shop which was a block from my house. I live in Atlanta GA. The interview was on a Saturday afternoon. I wore a dress shirt and slacks. My interviewer - a manager from BCG, wore similar attire. The interview was informal, conversational and smooth. At no point in the interview did i get the feeling of being under-dressed.

I guess you just have to weigh the situation as it presents itself. If we were meeting at a restaurant for lunch on a weekday, I would have suited up, but w/o a tie. If i was interviewing with the AdCom or in the office of my interviewer, the tie would be on...

Just my 2 cents

I totally agree, my interview was at a coffee shop at 7:30 pm on a Sunday. I had no idea what to wear, but figured a suit would seem out of place and determining whether you can assess a situation is important. I wore a business skirt with heels and a blouse, my interviewer showed up in flip flops and cargo shorts. I was very glad at that point I didn't wear a suit, I would have felt very awkward

Hey guys.. I am about to submit my Part 1.. I think I screwed on my GMAT report because on my profile I self-reported a 2.7 GPA and my score report is already at the hands of the Kellogg ADCOM. My GPA is actually 3.28.... Will they look at the score report and take that into account?

Can any of you be kind enough and please help me. My status for last 2 week is as below:-

All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). When a decision has been rendered, the Office of Admissions will send you an email notifying you to check your status for your decision. Decisions will be released throughout the round, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last several weeks of the round.

But I have not received any interview details. Can you please advise me where can i find the interview details (if they have been sent) and How do i conduct off-campus interview.

Thanks in advance. Please help me guys
