I'm from Brazil and I heard only 1 Brazilian guy was called yesterday.

My guess is that there are ~40 applicants from Brazil in R1 and ~8 will be accept.

Hey guys, I was admitted! Got off a plane yesterday with a voicemail from Adcom. They followed-up with an email as well.

Any idea when they let you know if you were given a scholarship? Are these usually included with the acceptance package?

It depends with scholarships. The big named scholarships (such as the Austin) are communicated with the admit call. But a lot of people get scholarships later on, after applying for financial aid. I got a pretty nice need/merit scholarship from Kellogg with my financial aid award, then got an email from Beth a few weeks later letting me know I was given another scholarship. So even if you don't hear with the call that you're getting money, there's still a pretty good chance you'll get money later.

Hmm, no gmatclub posted acceptance calls so far today. I'm speculating that things are going to start heating up within the hour and hopefully it will be crazy on this board like it was yesterday! Good luck fellow waiters, enjoy spending each unproductive minute at work as you agonizingly wait for that phone call! lols

I thought one person got the call this morning? However I don't think anyone else has (at least on this forum).

Constantly checking this site for updates and trying to take notes for an important call at work doesn't really work...
