To hopefully help clarify queries from above! Interview decisions, Round 1 admits and last years experience is pretty clear - dont expect a response before 5pm GMT but you should have one before midnight GMT. Same as Sandman, my decision came out at 8.30pm-ish in round one. They are a mailshot so you should all get them at the same time - obviously with information flying about the ether some will find theirs is slightly delayed which will likely depend on who you email provider is etc. (There was a few in Round 1 that didn't get the email and had to contact the adcom team the following day - no news does not mean bad news! - There was also a few who had the email go to their work email address that were expecting it to a personal account so if you haven't received it, and members here are posting their decisions, try and check your work email account) The last edited date means very little - most people seem to have their application edited within 2-3 days of decision deadline - mine was a week and a half before the deadline and there was other final edited dates before me. There was certainly no identifiable trend to what it meant and could be as little as adding final notes etc. Its not really worth your while checking it! Merit scholarships decisions officially come in the packet that is sent out which will take a couple of weeks, but you will probably get a phone call from your regional admissions manager followed by a confirmation email from one of the adcom team if you have been lucky enough to be selected. This is dependent on when the committee sits to decide on the shortlisted candidates but will likely be next week. Good luck to all you round 2ers! Be interesting to see your profiles on the portal! Re: last edited date I know it's probably futile, but my "application last edited date" just changed to 26 March 2015. Anyone else have the same? Good sign or bad omen?
