Congratulations to all those who received interview invite. I am an R1 admit and would be happy to help /answer questions related to interview process.

Hi diehardmbafan,

I'd like to know a bit more about the video interview. Is it a one-minute answer video interview? Does the second question get randomized from a pool of questions?

Thanks !

Hi - you will be given 30 seconds count down for each question before the recording begins and after that you will have 90 seconds to record your answer.
Yes, the second question would be a random question from a pool of questions. Take the second question as "behavioral" kind of question.

Thank you thank you! Can you please share any tips on how to prepare for the presentation portion of the interview? Is that related to the case or independent?

Hi everyone,

I'm little bit confused about how to answer the question of "Tell us about your responsibilities." in application form.
I'm a consultant and my day to day role varies according to each project assigned thus it is difficult for me to use one sentence to conclude my duties in all projects. Did anyone write a list of project including client name and responsibilies here? Any recommendation?

You should highlight your major roles, highlighting what you have achieved so far. Then you can go ahead providing details of your clients(2-3 maximum), budget size of the projects you have made an impact and your role in your team, etc.

Hi - You will be given a case and you will be asked to take a position. Based on my experience, you don't specifically need any preparation as such because it will be spontaneous. two three points to justify your position should be good enough.

Wish you all the best.

Thanks

Hi,
I have a question. For the additional information that requires you to "tell us your most significant international experiences to date," can I just list several significant experiences or do I have to conform to the essay format?
Thanks in advance.

I think you have only 100 words to answer this question. I only listed one and explained why very briefly.

Hello,

I just attended LBS MBA online webinar, and I heard that they are looking for a TOEFL score of 110 but could not hear that message clearly due to my internet connection problem. Could someone confirm this please?

Thanks.

I can confirm that 110 is usually the base score they announce as recommendation for TOEFL. However, as it happens with the GMAT, where the average is around 710 and you still have colleagues that might have lower scores than that, with the TOEFL I expect it to be the same. 110 puts English just one little step below your native language, but I believe that if, for example, you have a great CV, good references, solid GMAT and so on and so forth, it will not be a 100-109 TOEFL that will get you out of the admission process.

Still, in my opinion, if you do the GMAT first, your TOEFL should be as easy as it gets. Some question structures are the same, plus you can practice a bit with online exams to lose the shyness of speaking to a computer. GMAT focuses a lot more on detail than TOEFL.
