I'm also in DC and will have my phone nearby all day but after waiting (and truly expecting) to hear a decision yesterday, I am just going to assume they won't release decisions until tomorrow...

I was straight up told by admissions staff that they will call you 1 day before the deadline if you get in, so I have to imagine it will come today.
Good luck to everyone today or tomorrow. Remember, we've done all that we can do leading up to this moment, the decisions have been made... so there's no point in stressing all day. Just let it flow.

They will definitely start calling today if you get in. Every other school I’ve gotten in to has been that way, as well as every school I have been rejected from. Also, for Emory, they updated my status on my app at midnight on the night prior the decision day (with a rejection) so you might be able to find out that way.

Any idea about roughly how many wait listed candidates of R1 got accepted in R2 last year?! Or how many got a definite answer (accept/reject) by R2 decision notification?
