In my opinion, if you’re pivoting, I would recommend do restructuring

IB is a lot harder now Try to get some experience Certifications etc

Restructuring consulting or IB in a restructuring group. I would never do it. It’s way too technical and don’t want to be modelling all day but that’s more realistic.
