They have given calls to almost everyone this year. Selection % will be very low.
I see, so you mean that out of applicants in round 1, almost everyone receive interview call.
So the ration of interview calls to admitted students will be very small.

But how do you know that " They have given calls to almost everyone this year."? Do you have the data?

A consultant told me. Also, almost everyone in my personal circle applying for Ross got a call

Interestingly, a consultant whom I had approached also said the same that Ross is sending interview invites very generously.

However, the number of people who attended the "Special Interviewee Invites" was significantly lesser this time than for R2 last year. Make of that what you will.

I guess at some level that means that the post interview conversion for ORMs (specifically Indian Males) will actually be pretty less for Ross, maybe as low as ~30%. Ofcourse all this is just academic at this juncture, but may nevertheless help keep expectations realistic.

So, I've spoken to many admissions directors informally

2-3 things to note
1. International applications have reduced quite a lot (I read 50% in a newspaper)
2. They are prioritizing R1 over other rounds thanks to visa processing issues
3. They are looking to diversify their class, so Yale is trying to get in more tech folks, MIT is trying to get in more non-tech etc

So, we can't predict, just hang in there till the 5th and be positive!

Yes because they want to protect the yield and have a diverse class

I might be wrong, but that article referred to all international students - who are mainly the MS crowd. MBA population is significantly lesser. So not sure if we can assume MBA internationals also dropped by 50%
