New proposal just dropped on H-1B wages.
The plan:
Push wage floors higher at every level
17th → 34th
34th → 52nd
50th → 70th
67th → 88th
All tied to Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
Example:
If a role currently pays:
• $80K at the 17th percentile
It may now need to pay:
• ~$95K–$105K+ to meet the new floor
A significant shift in how the program is priced.
The plan:
