Interviewed and awaiting results. Do they usually send out emails for dings or should we assume if we do not get a response?

My interviewer said that results should be out on Friday or Monday. Both of which is over. After seeing this thread, I am only less and less hopeful. Still fingers crossed.

Any news?

I guess they are behind schedule. The site says that results were to be out by February 24. I wonder if there is anyone out there that has been dinged already? We have people that were likely waitlisted (the explicit status was not disclosed) and people invited to interview and accepted or invited to interview without a response/clear status (after 3 days acceptance status was disclosed to others).

Can the accepted people submit their profile? Thanks!

No News yet, for me. Waking up everyday to check my inbox diligently, still hoping that something happens :)

I spoke with the director a few days ago and she mentioned that they accept only about 55 across the entire application pool.

Hi guys, I decided to attend LGO and will relinquish my SDM slot.

For those of you who got wait-listed or rejected. DO NOT LOSE FAITH. Last year I got rejected by ALL graduate programs I applied to, including SDM R1 without even a phone interview or waitlist.

Try to ask for feedback and also revisiting why you want to go to SDM. They are really looking for people who have demonstrated a history of leadership and/or career potential in the field of technology. If you feel like you are the right fit, just focus on getting new recommendations or re-writing those essays to better reflect your messaging.

Hi guys, I received an admit(R1) to MIT SDM for Fall2017 but recently came to know about this forum.
I have one question - Has anyone got further communication from SDM admission committee/coordinator for topics such as fees structure, I20 etc.? After admission confirmation email I have not heard again from admission committee/coordinator. I sent couple of emails but no reply from admission coordinator. Since I am an international student, I am bit worried - I need to get visa and secure funds before the program commences in last week of Aug2017

I don't think there will be an early secure deposit like MBA program. I have already received MIT IT and registered everything online, including MIT emails. Seems SDM doesn't fear you will not show up, meaning everybody will show up :-), a big difference to MBA.

You need to go to iMIT (MIT portal) to request I20, the Fall request was opened yesterday. Here's the link. In the very beginning Admission part, will guide you how to apply for I20. Good luck my friend Sasuke, look forward to seeing you at campus in the Fall.

Hi abhibad, yes I applied on March 17, they rejected me five days ago without an interview, they only sent me an email.

They started conducting the interviews for round 2 this past week. Results for those will be out in the first week of May.
