I had applied but haven't received any Interview Call. However, I have received the e-mail sent by MIT, 2 weeks ago

"You will hear from SDM Master's Admissions regarding your admission status within six weeks"

Hi all of you,

It's good to see a thread of people applying to SDM. I was trying to find one for a long time.

I applied in R1 but haven't received any confirmation.

What is the acceptance rate for SDM, any idea?

It will be good to know the profiles of my fellow applicants. I will share my in the next post.

I heard that the acceptance rate is around 17,18%. not an official number though.

Compared to MIT Sloan (6-7%), it's seems good.

I visited the SDM office yesterday since I was already on campus for LGO interview and the adcom says they are still processing all the R1's. Apparently ALOT of people applied this year.

Folks,
Any updates on SDM? How did you send your transcripts? It seems they don't have a placeholder in application to upload your transcripts, and they ask your college to mail(postal) it to them, is that right?

Yes Abhijit, you need to mail them.

We can for the time being email the scan copies to them.

Then, either email the scanned copy from official college office or mail the physical copy to them.

Also got the interview email today:

"Your application has been reviewed and we would like to interview you as a part of the admissions process. If you are in the Cambridge area, we will interview you in person in our office at 1 Amherst Street E40-315, Cambridge MA, 02139. If you cannot be in Cambridge, this appointment can be conducted via Skype.

Your interview will be conducted by our Associate Director of Admissions(Interim) Rutu. Please contact Rutu to schedule your interview."
