Hi

Any waitlisted candidates that got the approval or rejection letter as yet? I was waitlisted after interview and am wondering if NUS is still a possibility considering the time it is taking to get the response.

Is there anyone who interviewed with NUS last year but hasn't received a decision yet?

Given the response time that NUS is taking in sending out decisions, I am guessing it may be a little later but you never know :) Are you starting applying to schools just now?

I see you have admits from other schools. Are you waiting on NUS to make the final decision?

Hi Nikhil

I am an international applicant. I was waitlisted on Jan 7, 2021 after having given my interview on Nov 9, 2020.

I think you should reach out to them citing your acceptance deadlines at other schools. NUS might prioritize giving out a decision on your application. Did you already do that?

Wow  That timeline is really long. Do you have deadlines at any other schools coming up? If so, you can write to them asking to expedite the process.

Yes, my application cycle moved by a couple of months because of COVID in the family.

How about applying for next year's intake in Round 1? Is that a possibility for you?

Nikhil - Next year may not be possible :( Might as well have to take the risk and apply quickly here.
I have applied to ISB in R2 but an interview invite seems a bleak possibility (Applied with a 690 and a hush-hush application)

Thank you Nikhil.
Thankfully, all my remaining applications (ISB, HEC Paris and INSEAD) were submitted such that I would receive most responses in next 2 weeks (I already go a rejection from NTU early on). However, my preference would be to go to NUS for its international exposure and geographical location. Is such a long timeline indicative of anything? Should I give up hope for NUS and focus on putting in applications to more schools?

My profile is as follows:
Academics - B.E. Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. Chemistry from BITS-Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus
GMAT - 730 (Q48/V41/IR8/AWA6)
Experience - 6.5 years with leading software provider to airlines as part customer care, professional services and consulting and technical product management roles in global teams.
International Exposure - short term project implementation and customer training for multiple products in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Yeah. Emailed them twice, first in Jan and then again in Feb. Radio Silence.

This is not a good experience at all for the applicants. Hopefully, NUS will work on improving it. :?

Hey, the website says the interview invites will be released by 17 February 2021 for FT R1, does that mean most of the invites have been rolled out already? Or will the invites be released simultaneously on 17th?
