It's a calculated risk. Historically, earlier rounds offer better chances since more seats and scholarships are available. By R3, competition intensifies, and securing funding becomes tougher. That said, if your overall profile is already strong with competitive GMAT/GRE, work experience, and a compelling story, you can still make a strong case. If you get rejected, and plan to reapply in next intake R1, in short time- period, you’ll need to show growth: a higher test score, career progress, or stronger leadership impact. If NUS is your dream school and you feel ready, go for R3. But if you think you can refine your application, R1 next year might set you up for a better outcome. It's about playing the long game and maximizing your odds. If you feel stuck anywhere, need any support or want to discuss your profile in detail, feel free to book a profile evaluation session.
