For those invited to interviews, has your status been updated on the Stern status check page? If so, what does it read? Thanks!

Hi guys!
Quick question: On the status check page, do you guys see anything between these 2 sentences:
"You can check the status of your application online at any time."
and
"It is your responsibility to notify NYU Stern of any changes to your contact information. Updates must be made through this Application Status Check Website."

Shouldn't it at least show if my application is complete/pending review or any other status??
Thanks!

Anyone?
Would really appreciate a reply.. Thanks! :-D

Nope nothing in between for me. But I also haven't received an interview invite yet. Although I did get a confirmation that my application was received.

Has anyone here applied to Stern prior to last year?
Considering Stern considers only last year's applicants as re-applicants, what do you say when Stern asks "Have you previously applied to MBA program at NYU Stern?".
Please respond quickly...

Doesn't it let you input the year when you previously applied?

Yes it does. But then the application portal doesn't allow me to submit the application without Essay 3. As I last submitted in 2010, I am submitting a fresh application.

If that's the case tick it "no" where it asks you if you're a re-applicant.

Do let me know please if the payment page loads once you get there - I'm still having difficulties with it and am slowly starting to panic.

I applied 3 years ago. I did put my previous application date in there. You are still filling out a new application since you don't fall under the "re-applicant" designation, which just limits the number of essays and recommendations you have to submit. However, you should note when you previously applied - they will have your records on file anyway.

And you wrote essay 3 informing how your candidacy has improved as well? Because the portal doesn't allow you to submit without it!!

What did you do about Essay 3, dr0xlunltd

I actually used Essay 3 to discuss academics and a job gap, and did no mention anything about my original application. I did mention the improvement in my candidacy from my original application briefly in Essay 1 as I discussed what has changed over the past 3 years and why now is actually the best time for me to pursue an MBA.
