That's an interesting article. Of course it makes me a bit nervous, because this is an incredibly nerve racking process. However, I wonder how much this affects US-applicants. It seems like the article is hinting that the reason for the increased applicants is more foreign citizens are applying. I'm interested to see if the percentage of international students for some of the big schools changes much next year. Right now, most schools are around 1/3 international candidates. If they want to keep it around that percentage, it sounds like this article would be good news for US applicants and bad news for foreign applicants. However, if they increase international candidates to 1/2 the class, the reverse is true.
Guess this all leaves us to do even more speculation in the next two weeks.
