Ouch - kinda stinks they make us wait soo long. I interviewed last week on Monday so guess I gotta wait till Jan.

No call but I also have no signal at work. Got e-mail around 10am telling me to log back in to status check which asked me to click another link to see their decision.

Woke up to the dreaded 'status has been updated, go check online' email, but it turned out to be good news rather than bad.

Just had my interview...I'm so bummed because I did terrible, I babbled a lot and was not even answering the questions right....I don't know why I freaked out....it was definitely not my best performance and there's no one to blame but myself...I am 98% sure I'm officially out now...:/

What happened that you feel you did so bad? I'm sure you did fine.

I was just babbling a lot...I didn't even know what I was talking about at some point...I had high hopes for this interview bc stern is my dream school....but it was honestly the worst performance in any interviews I had done in my life...

I know the feeling... But you can't change anything now, so try to recall some positive moments of your interview. We're our own worst judge. Good luck!

Be comfortable with your own story and why you want to go to Stern. Probably best you don't sound too scripted and just talk straight from the heart. Once you get an interview it just seems that they just want to make sure you can fit into their collaborative environment.

I got waitlisted as well without interview I don't have any idea how this works, if you have any clue on a strategy or when do we find out about our final decision let me know, I'll do the same. Not at all. Really informal and social. Questions were, talk about my experience, why business school, why Stern and something I like to do for fun. It was rather quick, a little under 20 minutes, which is why I've been freaking out the past 3.5 weeks.

International Applicant from India here.
Had submitted on Oct 15th and received App status mail on Oct 28th, but still haven't received any decision (and its Dec 15 today :? ).
I had mailed a DVD for Personal Expressions Essay on Oct 15th (the package was postmarked Oct 15th, so was still eligible for R1 - as mentioned on Stern website).
Therefore, I was expecting a decision by today's deadline. Am I missing something here and should call/mail them inquiring about this?

BTW, CONGRATS to all those who got ADMITS and BEST OF LUCK to all those preparing for their Interviews.
