Yeah - just yesterday two were reported on here as having arrived at 3:08.

So about 3/4 R2 amigos have gotten their invites. Question for R1 applicants..

Was there a day or week when most of the interview invites were sent out or were the invitations trickled out at a very slow and sometimes patience testing pace until the deadline?

Seemed like a steady trickle of invites in R1. If you go to the first page in this thread, the spreadsheet of applicants has a column with the dates of interview invites, which started in late November, picked up in December, then trickled out in January.

No problem. It was also selfish since I was wondering the same thing! It is definitely a little comforting knowing that we should see lots more invites, with seemingly no rhyme or reason behind the order in which they come out.

I don't think there is a correlation - one of yesterday's invitees received their status check e-mail at the same time, to the minute, that I did. I don't have a ding/interview or anything :/.

This wait is tough...

Interviewed 2/3/2011 as a part of Women's Event
Was notified of admission via an email message that stated 'status had changed'. Had to log on (painful) to see final decision.

For those expecting/hoping for a call: I didn't get a phone call until two days after my admit. From what I know not everyone receives a phone call.

I never received a call from an Admin. but I did receive a call from one of the Stern representatives to congratulate and offer to answer any questions. To all those admitted congratulations!

I guess the admins must of been slowed down a bit because of all the snow days in New York.
