So what you're saying is that when they say we'll hear a decision in three weeks at the end of the interview they really mean one week?

Did your interviewer also suggest it could be three weeks before you might hear? Was the one week turnaround a surprise?

Yeah, my interviewer said "you'll here within 3 weeks." GOOD LUCK!!!

Indian Applicant here...Stern has their Interviews scheduled in India around March 11. So if i dont hear by then is it game over? could someone shed a bit of light on how it works for internationals.

If you don't interview at a hub city, you may be asked to interview in New York. So it isn't over.

Yup! I'd say with NYU more people were WL'd without interview than with interview.

I don't think they would interview a WL'er past May. Final decisions can come as late as August though.

So hoping for an interview invite this coming week! I feel like NYU was my strongest app and I put tons of effort into essay three. But ... I'm sure most of you could say the same thing. Man this application process is a great lesson in patience.

At this point, I really don't think there will be many more invites coming out for R2. I am waiting as well.....

Why would you think that? Judging by last year, only a little over half of the interview invites had gone out at this point on GMATClub. There is no reason to speculate with no basis. Unless you have some more information than us.
