An admissions consultant told me on Saturday 03/05 that he believes approximately 75% of invites have gone out. While I would welcome an invite on any day (even April 1st), it would be more difficult to attend their admit weekend the later the invite comes. I'm sure Stern wants as many of their admits as possible to attend that weekend, especially their strong(er) admits.

yeah, crap...i have to have some hope to God that I am not in the no-go stack. I really want to be apart of Stern. And I dont have the luxury to 'beef up my score' and apply again next year. Crizap.

Just being practical - invites will still come out, but not too many. I don't live in a fairy tale world.

An earnest request to you. If you can't spread optimism then at least please don't spread pessimism. I hope you will respect the sentiments of the fellow GC members.

Although this comment is not directed at me...I'd love to spread some optimism...if we dont get interviews or we get dings or whatever, I'm convinced it's for a higher purpose. Maybe that's one of the things the 'losers' say but I believe it. I may be getting dinged but that's because I'm meant to go somewhere else. And, FYI 25% is greater than 0% so until that numbers comes to 0% there's still hope for all!

Any chance that if you interviewed with a Stern alum for the Consortium application that they might not need another interview?

Sounds far fetched I guess, but trying to find anything to keep me from feeling like Stern is an obvious ding at this point.

No. Nyu doesn't accept the cgsm interview... But ppl from round 1 were getting int invites on the last possible notification day, so you still have a chance.

Yea I interviewed on March 3rd, and on the website there were interview slots all the way to March 30th. Each day had about 1-10 slots open 4 days a week. Not sure if Stern interviews more than 1 person per timeslot though.

They definitely interview more than one person per time slot! There were at least three other people interviewing at the same time as me, and multiple people in the waiting area for the following time slot as well.

I imagine it depends on where you live. I think it took about a week for me to receive my packet in the mail.

How does one come to know whether the video in You Tube has been viewed by someone or not?
