I interviewed on 8th march.

congrats! any odd ball questions?

Umm let me try to recall all the questions!
He was very nice and welcoming. But went straight to questions
1) What do you like to do in your free time
2) Talk me through your resume
3) Your short-term goal is to be __. This is a very a competitive field, what are two qualities that would make you stand out?
4) What are your internship plans?
5) What if they dont happen? Whats your contingency plan?
6) Why Stern and not other programs?
7) Any questions for him.

It was about 30 minutes and he said i will hear back in 3 weeks. GOOD LUCK to people out there! Hope this helps :)))))))))

I was waitlisted last year until beginning of August (the last possible day) with no information at all from the school. I am a reapp this year and still haven't heard a thing. It definitely does not leave me feeling very good, but would still not stop me from attending.

730/3.7 WI/5+ years Software Development + Management.........I went through a ridiculous number of drafts of my essays at all my schools this year

Not sure why no one wants me (tear)

So I was R2 n interviewed on feb 23. However no sign of life yet and its been 2 wks 2 days. Should I consider it as -ve?

Anyone interviewed then or before n still no response?

Wonder if the adcom ppl ever browse these forums and chuckle at our posts ...

Does anyone know if the status changes happen only within nyu business hrs? It would help not having to constantly check status page 24 hrs a day.

This is exactly how I feel, especially since I haven't even interviewed there. Its like they were so uninterested they just plum forgot about my app.

I agree, I got an email from them about a month after I submitted saying they didnt have my resume or gmat score. Sent it to them and still havent heard anything. They seem extremely disorganized and slow. Very frustrating.

cosminm, i interviewed with a young lady, very friendly. She had previous experience in banking. she asked me the typical questions:

1- what do you like to do outside work?
2- walk me thru ur resume / career choices
3- why mba / why now / why stern?
4- what activities do u want to participate in at stern?
5- What do you like about ur job?
6- what do u disklike about ur job?
7- example of a conflict and how u handled it
8- what internships ru considering for the summer?
9- is there anything else u'd like to tell me?

probably one or 2 more but along the same lines. then i asked a couple of questions and that was it. all in all it took 30 mins and she said i'd hear back in 3 wks.

after the interview i had lunch with students and attended a class. being an international, i scheduled everything for the same day.
