We're supposed to be here to support one another during these times, not try to misinform one another. come on people.

On a brighter note, if there is going to be movement i assume it'll start after the final round 4 deposits hit on Thursday and they know how many seats are actually open. Good luck to everyone! Hopefully some of us get our call

Yes, I have submitted a continued interest essay along with an additional recommendation letter. Got in touch with a couple of current students and mentioned that in the essay too; kept attending the admissions virtual events.

If the 15th is just a deposit deadline, are they expecting churn day of the 15th or any day after now-mid July?

I would assume friday they would assess their yield, how many seats are open, and what demographics they're lacking or looking for and then review the waiting list over the next week. I'd hope they start making decisions this month but realistically could go all summer unfortunately. I was offered 80k at another program and my lease is running up so I need to move but I want to be at vanderbilt so not enjoying this game at all lmao hope yall are coping better than I am

Want to keep that personal but it's another top 25 program. Not an M7 or anything but still another strong program. I did accept it but I'd prefer Vanderbilt as i very much see myself there.

My lease is the issue, I can't afford to keep doing month to month and I need to move already. I am very much hoping to know by the end of the month. So very stressful lol

I’d assume it’s too late for any international candidate to get a visa in time. I am also assuming some international candidates who may have a visa pending will drop out if/when their visa is denied, which may open additional spots.

I was told they evaluate the waitlist weekly but they didn't give a timeline so I assume that could go right up to August

If any of us are accepted this late, I assume it would be without scholarship, right?
