Folks, i need some honest advice. Overall my interview went well, i asked a few engaging questions, but my introduction was a bit too long. The interviewer (a 2nd year, cut me down and said we need to move on to other questions). For the other questions, i did maintain brevity, and did provide insightful answers (atleast in my opinion), but i want to know how much does this hurt my chances. The interviewer at the end did tell me that i am sorry to cut you, i know you are very passionate about your story, youre a good story teller, and will do well in consulting etc, and i did say thank you for the feedback and being so patient, ill get better yada yada, but feeling down AF post the interview for seeming to have messed up a pretty imp school on my list

Honestly I don't think it's that bad
If interviewer acknowledged you are good enough and apologized for cutting you that's a good sign that they like rest of your interview I would say
And they acknowledged you being a good story teller and assuming your post mba career goal is consulting - they have acknowledged the skillset that you already have os aligned with your post Mba goal
Maybe you can apologize again in thank you email. But I believe you are good to move on. Anyways interview is done you have tried your best and they acknowledged the skillset

On second thoughts instead of apologizing you can acknowledge them agreeing with potential inspite of long introduction, thank them and tell them you will implement the feedback.. that would be a good way to go about it as well
