Hi punit, I suggest that you attend the on site event/ or online. It is generally advice against applying on R3 unless you came from a highly diverse background, have a very high score, work in a niche sector. It is still worth the try if 1. 250 pounds is not a big investment 2. you have something in hand for the next few months that you can risk being a reapplicant

Generally speaking, R3 is no advisable for international candidates unless you have a background that truly sets you apart (and, you cannot wait another year).

Thus, to answer, while you can apply, chances of making it to your target school will not be as good as they would have been had you applied in an earlier round.

Had my interview today with Alexlendria (she is an external career counselor). Questions were standard
1. Introduction
2. Leadership style
3. How do you manage the stress of 1 year program at Oxford
4. Why MBA
5. Why Oxford
6. How will you contribute and interact with the cohort
7. Job switches
8. What you do for fun

Very comfortable interview. She was quite warm and friendly, I could give the answers stress free. Overall 40 mins ,including my own questions

just thinking out-loud, on what basis would someone not make it past the interview stages? any ideas of what would not get someone through?

The reasons could be aplenty: responses disconnected from the application, poor people skills, poor articulation / waffling / not answering the question, being someone who wouldn’t be wanted as a peer in the classroom, coming across as boring / dull - just my two pence.

How do you answer this question - What will you add in terms of values to the class?

answer it with the same answer as you would with ’how you can contribute to the class’

I did and i thought it wasn’t the right answer because of the keyword "Values"

I wouldnt be too worried - you cant be listing adjectives in interviews. Even if you did those translate into what you can contribute anyways

Had my interview today with Mandeep Mahal (she is an MBA Adcom). Questions were okay though I had a curve ball in 1-2 of the questions because I did not expect those.

Introduction, professional journey, why MBA, Why Oxford, what are the qualities in a leader, situation based, whats the challenge you would face in securing short term goal, whats plan B, and have you applied to other schools.

She also informed regarding the dates regarding when can I expect the decision and that she will pass on my feedback to the team and they will get in touch on so and so date.

Conversational interview | She was quite clam and welcoming | Overall 30 mins ,including my own questions.

can anyone tell me if I dinged this one? from any experience? Did not really felt 100% confident post my interview to be honest but I felt I was authentic and tried my best to deliver the answers.
