The Oxford MBA application for the 2025-2026 cycle requires one main essay. The prompt is:
“Tell us something that is not covered in your application which you would like the Admissions Committee to know about you.” with a maximum of 250 words.

In addition, re-applicants must submit a second essay about improvements made since their last application.

Beyond this main essay, there are also several short “hidden” essays related to career goals embedded in the application form.

you have to complete video assessment on Kira before the deadline, and the link become available only after you submit your CV and referees' contacts.

"Don't forget, once you have uploaded your CV and the contact details of your 2 referees, you'll receive a link to complete your online assessment. The online assessment must also be completed by the 23.59 deadline, so please don't leave it until the last minute."

I received a reminder mail from Oxford which has these above lines. Do they refer to LoR Submission by 1st October 23.59 or is it a separate component (such as a written or video assessment)?

The Kira interview typically includes a mix of short video-based questions and in some cases, a written response component (depending on the school or program).
Here’s what to expect:
Questions often focus on your:
 • Motivation (e.g., Why this program? What are your goals?)
 • Behavioral/situational experiences (e.g., teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution)
 • Personal reflection (e.g., strengths, values, challenges)

You’ll get limited prep time (30–60 seconds) before recording, while written responses are usually timed without prep.
