Anyone who is receiving the calls is getting scholarship info???????????

I just got my call, but the lady didn't say anything about $$$$$$$$$$$$

Is it right to assume that I got 0$ from Ross????? If this is the case is going to be hard not to deposit the 4k for Tuck and grab the 20k scholarship that Dartmouth offered me.

You probably got 0$ as they always mention about scholarship during the call, but I would call to make sure that is what happened.

me too i was just looking at the 2009 and 2010 board I think they will have one more day of calls. They are letting in a big class so accounting for class size and yield rate they are letting in 150-200 ppl in round 1. So thats a lot of calls to make.

I actually interviewed before Super Saturday and thought the interview went very well so I would be pretty disappointed at not getting in.

I think its gotta be more than 150-200. If theyre targeting a class of 500 and 30% go elsewhere (which i think is accurate per last year) thats 715 total, mostly over 2 rounds. I would think that would mean at least 300 admits in the first. probably closer to 400. then again, maybe my monkey math is off. Either way, im dying for the call. Really wish they would just send an email.

The plan is to start them early next week. (I can't promise whether "early" means Monday or Tuesday). But the calls will continue through the week, with the goal of reaching all admits by January 14 when decisions will be accessible online for all applicants.

As I tell anxious applicants every year, the calls are made in no particular order and we don't have set times when we make the calls. Just try to be patient. (I know that's not easy!) We'll try to reach you as soon as we can.

From Soojins blog... You maybe right 300 does sound accurate considering 70% yield and class size of 500. So if they do 100 per day it seems right no? I have a feeling they will release the website decisions a few hours to one day early. Calls will be made Tues-Thurs maybe till afternoon? Just a guess but im going stir crazy.

Yeah, I like the personal touch thing but they should release emails first and the follow up with calls.....just waiting indefinitely drives you nuts...its like a slow death with the execution on friday.

Did anyone who missed a call NOT get an email? I was flying when a lot of the calls went out. I interviewed Super Saturday and thought I had a great shot at getting admitted.

I would argue that the wait is worse than an execution.. with an execution, you at least know the outcome and can make peace with it

Any idea if admissions office announce people on scholarships through email/voice message in cases when they can't get a hold of them personally?
