My R1 interview feels like forever ago :) , but I remember the questions were very standard -- resume walk-through, why MBA?, why Ross?, how will you contribute, leadership example, etc. Nothing at all that was unexpected.

R2 applicant, got invited for an interview on monday.

Will attend Super Saturday coming from Colombia, quite a long trip for just a weekend! But I'm sure it will be worth it :-D

hi suppati...well, i'm from india as well and had my interview with an alum in new delhi. The ques were pretty standard with introduce yourself, why mba, why ross, why you are the ideal candidate, etc....but my iterviewer also asked some personality ques like biggest challenge, strengths, weakness, etc....plus, he did at times make me go into the details of my work, company, roles, etc....it was quite an intense interview when I think about it now, but the friendly nature of the interviewer helped keep the tension to a minimum....

according to the app instructions, the employment verification will be done for admitted students, not necessarily enrolled students. and from what I've heard I think it'll happen well before GBR and all the other deadlines. maybe an admit from last year can confirm? though I asked admits from last year and they don't remember a verification at all. or at least paying for one. I know this one is on us this year. if anyone talks to admissions and finds out, holler!

During my campus visit, I recall a student ambassador mentioning that those admitted will need to initiate the background check process with a third party, which leads me to think we'll get more information about it in our admissions binders since I don't see anything about it on the intranet.
