I am not scared as I want to get it over with. I am really tired of waiting...I have got into the habit of waking up in the morning and reaching for my phone to check email first before getting out of the bed...
about the month ago, i was in the same shoes.. :(

Yeah my overall is good, but I definitely have lower grades in the math classes. Hopefully they need some verbal people to balance it all out :) I agree with you, I am not taking that test again unless I reapply next year. Can't wait to get rid of my study guides for good, right now they're hidden under my bed so I don't have to look at them lol.

I hear you. I sold all my Manhattan books on craigslist just last week. However, I'm looking to retake after this round of apps if I get dinged. I've gotten a lot of feedback on my 690. It seems top schools really do want at least 80% in both Q and V. Probably going to use the 50 pt money-back guarantee at Knewton this time around. Best of luck!

I did my off-campus interview with an alum yesterday. I wanted to go to campus for the women's event, but unfortunately the timing didn't work out for me. It was pretty relaxed; he asked good questions, nothing too tough or unexpected. They're just looking to get to know you better. I'd just give the standard advice: know why you want to go to business school and what you want to get out of it, why Ross, etc. Have a few versatile stories about working with others prepared. Good luck to everyone else interviewing and waiting to hear about interviews!

any word on whether ross likes on campus vs off campus w/an alum? is it a huge deal to them like it is with tuck or the like to actually go to campus? thanks.

The Ross blog has stated several times that it doesn't matter if you go to campus or not--all interviews are treated equally.

However, my personal belief is that going to the school is a sign of interest, which matters to a school like Ross. They really don't want to be a backup choice that you'd only attend if you don't get into some other school. Going to campus, especially if you haven't been yet, indicates, at least to me, that you really care about the school. That's my take.

My interview on campus was 30 minutes with a student and basic questions, so I doubt they put much weight on the interview. I do remember during an admissions event one of the adcom directors explicitly said they won't weigh whether you visit or not as part of admissions, but I would say just go if there's any doubt in your mind.

I spoke with an adcom member about this, after meeting her at an MBA fair and a Ross-specific event. She said that since I got a lot of info about Ross from those events and talking to alums and knew I absolutely wanted to apply, I could save the trip out there for GBR (the admit weekend), if I'm accepted.

I think it's important to show your interest in the school one way or another, but it doesn't have to be a trip to campus necessarily. A current student who I used to work with was admitted having never been to campus, which would be my situation as well, if I'm admitted.

All that said, if you can swing the trip financially and time-wise, I think it's worth going. But it's not worth stressing too much over. And if you've already visited campus, I don't think you need to make another trip out for the interview, unless you really want to.

I would probably read that as sometime before the 10th of Feb.. And that seems reasonable considering that they would have received more applications in R2 than in R1..

i think u're a part of R2 now...thts's why they want to interview u so that they can hopefully make a decision in this round regarding yr app...

Well, thats what I am hoping too, because that surely increases my chances of making it (looking at last yr's nos).. But fortunately or unfortunately, going by wolverine access, I am still on the wait-list. Anyway, hoping to do well at the interview for now..

I got a personal email encouraging me to attend, but unfortunately I can't. Not sure if that's what you're talking about?
