any word on whether ross likes on campus vs off campus w/an alum? is it a huge deal to them like it is with tuck or the like to actually go to campus? thanks.
I spoke with an adcom member about this, after meeting her at an MBA fair and a Ross-specific event. She said that since I got a lot of info about Ross from those events and talking to alums and knew I absolutely wanted to apply, I could save the trip out there for GBR (the admit weekend), if I'm accepted.
I think it's important to show your interest in the school one way or another, but it doesn't have to be a trip to campus necessarily. A current student who I used to work with was admitted having never been to campus, which would be my situation as well, if I'm admitted.
All that said, if you can swing the trip financially and time-wise, I think it's worth going. But it's not worth stressing too much over. And if you've already visited campus, I don't think you need to make another trip out for the interview, unless you really want to.
