Do applicants from India receive calls or emails? I think emails (because of the time difference)
i'm from india and I got an email....dont know about the others though. But i do know that singapore has a worse time difference than india, and people still got a call there..so i think they choose randomly based on many factors....dont worry abt it...either way, you will be notified if you are admitted....all the best..!!

Are you a round 1 admit? and if so, how many days prior to the notification date did you hear from Ross?

i had a question for current students abt EBS - specially those that attended the EBS course last fall.

1) What was your feedback on the course? Do you think it is worth taking for international students for getting fimiliar with the US education system and AA in general??
2) For someone who has a good GMAT and TOEFL score and has done all their education in English, would this course teach us something new? Or would it basically just be a repetition of basic english skills??
3) Towards the end, (2nd week of August) this course would conflict with the Accounting prep course. Do you think its possible to do both the courses together? Or would that be too hectic a schedule?

I was thinking of taking this course this fall and the answer to these questions would really help in taking the final decision.

Can the accepted Indian applicants share their profile. I think I will be applying next year and wanted to get a feel for whether I need to improve my score on the GMAT.

well, my profile is available on the site. typically, for indians, the GMAT is pretty high. since you're planning on applying next year, you have enough time to improve yr score. 700 plus is recommended, but if you get 750 plus, then its huge. Also, make sure that the score is split almost equally in the math and eng sections.

Guys, I was going through last year's thread. It seems that admissions started calling people a full week ahead of the notification date (notification date was Monday, march 15 and calls started on Monday, march 08). It also appears that admissions budgets at least three days before the notification date to make the calls. The bulk of the calls came on the 8th (Tue) and 9th (Wed) with just a couple reported on the 10th (Friday).

Following the same pattern, it is is likely that majority of the calls will go out on Thursday & Friday but I don't think that admissions would want to keep people hanging over the weekend in case the calls spill into a third day. So, there might actually be a good chance that the calls will start on Wed i.e. tomorrow (yikes). What do you guys think?

It sure sounds plausible. Hope you are right, this wait is debilitating.

Is there some Ross' site where one can look for clandestine clues for a change in status, like the spelling mistake on "NYUStern", or the subtle addition to "submitted to review" on UCLA's apply page?

I completely agree Cook. They need to make 600 phone calls in 3 days. If they have a staff of 10 (just a guess), then that is 20 calls per day, which is doable. At the latest I think Thursday this week.
