I know, went through the same experience :) But I'm relieved to see it's not a "Thank You for your time. Unfortunately ..." kind of email. I suspect they send these emails too in batches as I've visited 10 days ago on the 14th.

If Ross do start calling early then it would be harsh on many of us coz of the weekend. So, those two days will be full of anxiety for people who will still be waiting for that call.

i think they will finish most of the calls before the weekend. with r1, the calls started few days before the deadline and finished in 2-3 days....the next 1-2 days were almost silent and then the final decisions came out....

I applied to Tauber but did not get an interview invite from them (I have interviewed with Ross). Tauber staff contacted me a month ago saying that they would invite me for interview at the end of February. I reminded them about myself a few days ago but got no reply.

What does it mean?

Thanks, solemio. I think this is a reasonable explanation. Actually I wonder why they interview applicants before Ross decisions come out at all. Good luck to you

At least for US applicants, it's usually 734-647-xxxx
(I vaguely remember someone saying 734-647-0000)

Not sure about international, but hope this helps.

Thanks, bro (or, should I say, bruin? :))

Having thought about it, maybe I should simply block all the other numbers from ringing.

This way, I could rely on my hearing and finally get some sleep. Turns out, it's not that easy - staring compulsively at my phone for seven days in a row.

Another question for all you applicants who have been through the process:

My essays, resume, transcripts, GMAT scores, are all ready to go. The form is filled out. One recommendation has been submitted. The only thing left for me to do is to hit submit and pay the fee but unfortunately my second recommender, who seems to be taking his sweet time, is starting to freak me out. I gave him 4 weeks notice, and have gently reminded him twice now of the upcoming deadline. Every day I check the status and he has not started yet.

What happens when March 1st arrives? Do I have to wait for him to submit it or can I just submit my application and hope that he finishes it on time? Does Ross grant leeway to recommendations that arrive late?

Does Ross grant leeway to recommendations that arrive late?

From what I have seen (and from experiences posted on this board), the answers seems to be "yes, to an extent". A recommendation that is a couple of days late tends to be accepted. But if the recommended is extremely late (week or more) I would imagine that the admissions committee would move the applicant to the next round.

Any other speculation / predictions of when calls will go out? I'm thinking late this week... no basis for that, total speculation.

Do applicants from India receive calls or emails? I think emails (because of the time difference)
