I agree with Avernusaur. I'm not reading too much into it right now. As far as I know, my name could be picked from the hat on November 12th. As much as I wanted it to be today, it didn't show up in my inbox. Fret not though, because Wharton just might invite me come this Friday :P (yes, I like to dream, folks)

Yeah, I'm not too torn about not getting an invite today. I wasn't really counting on it. Heck, I put in my app the morning of the deadline. I'll just keep assuming the invite will come in a couple of weeks during the next batch.

I guess this means I can concentrate on finishing my other round 1 app. I'm just about done. All that's left is a bit of polish. Then on to starting my round 2 apps. It's a long road but more than worth the journey...even if the journey sucks at times.

Here I have a question...How to view the online application status? I logged in my account, and got into the Online Application Menu. Then I didn't know where to go, I tried to check my activity, but nothing's there...I noticed that someone in this thread said he saw his activity as"confirmation date: XX/XX EST" or as "invited for interview". I really want to know where to check this kind of info?

When you log in to the application you should see the first page. Just click "Save and Exit." That will take you out to the status page where you will see your status, completed recs and anything else.

I don't think it has to do when you turn it in; as long as you turn it in before the deadline, it's all reviewed the same way.

AMandeeps, we had 12 people who received interview invitations. The first page has all of this information.

Check the earlier pages in the thread. At least 12 users from the forum were invited to interview so far. The next batch of invites will go out in a little over 2 weeks.

I am a reapplicant. Did not get interview invite. Last year, I was one of the first ones to receive invite. But then I was not one of those selected for feedback at the end of summer. Hoping to get an invite on Nov 12.

BTW, does anyone know how much having two typos and 4-5 missed commas hurt the chances of admission?

I personally do not think that a couple of typos and a few missed commas will be automatic ding. However, this is said in context of the grand scheme of the application is awesome. Of course, it also depends on what words were the typos and where these commas are missed. But generally speaking, I think AdComs will give some leeways for applicants with just a few writing mistakes. It's the "holistic" approach. :lol:

I had applied for R1 and have not received a Interview call yet. I was shuffling between this forum and my in-box the whole day yesterday.

Ironically I have received 3 generic mails from Ross in the last 24 hours and none of them related to my application. One mail was about 'On campus recruitment drive', one was for 'Application tips and class offerings' and one was about the net impact event.

Every time I saw a mail from 'Ross MBA' I think I have skipped about 5 heart beats. :twisted: :lol: . I felt I was riding one of those scary rides in six flags. High a moment ago and my hopes comes crashing again. But this is all fun and I am looking forward to the 12 Nov list.
