I don't know about anyone else, but I prefer this new format. I like that I don't have to wonder if today is the day I get an invite, but just know that there are two days where the round of invites go out.

I'm submitting to Ross in R2, but I agree. I'd much rather know exactly which date interview/admission decisions are going out, even if it's a while between the two. From the other school threads, seems like the schools with rolling invitations are driving everyone crazy (I admit to getting caught up in it myself, especially since I found this place!)

I agree with both. The only (very minor) complaint I have is that they didn't announce the interview invite dates for almost two weeks. Other than that, I love knowing exactly when I'll get news.

2nd year student......good experience he was tough initially but i think i connected with him....based on what i heard students are tougher than adcom....so think i did reasonably well.

not sure if in terms of process they re-review all apps in their entirety post interview or just consider the interview before making the decision since they've probably already seen my application

Yes, students do tend to be a little tougher than ad-com, but ad-com knows that and factors that into the decision making. Also, ad-com reads each application in its entirety again at least once after the interview. That's part of the reason for the long decision timeline.

great that i picked alum then... I tried to pick one who isn't hardcore finance (it was tough) so there will be more "connection" between us. picking hardcore finance guys when you are not from that field is probably bad idea me thinks

How are the two lists made, is it in order of the receipt of applications or is it a totally random order or geographical? Or is it some confidential data

100% random. There is no order whatsoever.

Hi Guys,

Has anyone received the following request for additional documents from Ross:

# Undergraduate degree document from degree-granting institution showing your name, school, degree awarded, and conferral date.
# Graduate level degree (Masters, Phd, Chartered Accountancy) document/diploma with your name, degree awarded and conferral date.

Were these one of the mandatory documents to be submitted along with the transcripts? I dont remember seeing these as a requirement in the application or did I miss these?

Thanks.

btw, I submitted my application for Round 1. Please include me in the Roll call.

I didn't get that email (even though I did attend a couple of undergrads).

However, I did get an email, asking for my undergrad transcript that I graduated from. It was quite funny, actually, because I did upload it. I talked to a lady from AdCom and she told me that it probably got lost via the application website. I emailed her a copy of my transcript directly and it was all fine. The downside was that I didn't get this notice until the Tuesday after the first Monday interview invites were out, which means that my application didn't get a chance to be read prior to Monday. Kinda sucks to know that I missed one of the interview dates because of the website's operational issue.

Anyway, I would just forward all the necessary information to Michigan. I don't think it'll be counted against you, and you're right - there was nowhere online that allows you to upload these additional information.

angel99, I got this mail as well asking for undergraduate degree. I think they assume transcripts contain that. Nevertheless, I have to do it, does anyone know if this means my app is still not read?
