Just did the Webnar with Ross... here are some highlights:
1. They try to look at the Resume first for experiences etc. Try not to include too much undergrad stuff and no HS stuff

. They do not look at GPA/GMAT first because they expect applicants to have strong academic backgrounds so they look at other factors - resume, recs ,essays first to differentiate the candidates.
2. Most cases interview lines up with resume/app. if lots of inconsistency then they look deeper into the application. Also they kinda expect recs to put "5 stars" across the board on the grading of applicants - they would prefer a more realistic view of it to show some difference..
3. invites given out randomly so no worries about alphabetical order etc.
4. quality over quantity on work experience.
5. retake if got 700 first try? <- If in 80%s range then competitive. you gotta make decision yourself. If low GPA maybe you should but still up to you.
