Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but for those of you who were waitlisted in Round 1 w/o an interview, did you have to wait until the official Round 1 deadline communication to find out? Or was there an email in between?

I'm a Round 2 applicant and didn't get an interview invite, so I'm heading down the ding or waitlist road it appears :(

Does anyone know how long the wait between interview and decision notification is?
I know that they will be sent by 3/15 but does that mean they are all sent out at the same time?

Ross usually starts the calls a day or two early, but you will definitely have a decision by 3/15.

Anyone else interview with the Tauber Institute? Mine is a phone interview tomorrow; any help on what to expect would be appreciated.

Congrats to all the new admits! Hopefully I'll see you at GBR.

It's good to see a current Ross student here. Could you please tell us briefly how well Ross students do in looking for internships and jobs?

Thanks!

Well, one half of my prayers has been answered. My wife just got into Michigan's School of Social Work! Now with my own interview tomorrow, no pressure right? :)

Good luck.
And it seems you will have a headache to choose which school to go to.

Looks like his wife might make that decision for him--

lol you got that right -- there's no decision to be made at this point. If I get into Ross, we're going. Or I die. :)

Pretty cool stuff. Congrats!

And try to not get too wound up over the interview. Of course that's way easier said than done, but I'm just back from mine and enjoyed the chat. My interviewer was really nice and did a lot to make the whole deal very relaxed. There weren't any particularly unusual questions, so just have the obvious bases covered and you should be set to go.

Also, the Admissions Office is not in the new building, but getting there from the new building is very easy. Just go up the big set of stairs that you see when you first walk in the main entrance to the new building and then follow that hallway straight back; it takes you over to the old building and leads directly to Admissions.

I can attest that the admissions office is kind of out of the way. However, these directions will get you there very easily. I showed up 20-30 min early just to make sure I found my way there and had time to settle in.

Another point i would like to add is that you need to plan for parking before you get there (i.e. if you are planning to drive to campus). There is street parking everywhere around the building, but make sure you carry a lot of quarters (each quarter gets you 11 mins). The parking deck is like 3 to 4 blocks away, so if you can't find street parking or prefer to park in the deck, give yourself plenty of time for the walk.

My application just got completed on 02/07/12, so I belive I still have a slim chance to get an invite. I have a request for others in my position whose applications were not complete at the time of submission to please post here if any of you get an invite.

Hello Guys!

I had a question regarding the non-co-signor loan that is offered by Ross School of Business. Please can someone tell me if this is offered or not by Ross for class of 2014?

I was told earlier that it is not and some reference was made to some blogpost by Soojin. However the website of Ross says that the non-co-signor loan is available for international students via the RSB UMCU loan...

Would appreciate if someone can give a definitive answer to this...

Thanks a lot,
Ash
