Hey all,

Had my Ross interview this past weekend. Outside of Why MBA and Why Ross, it was very conversational and not the 'structured question --> structured answer' format. I think this may have been a factor of my interviewer's style as opposed to a Ross standard though.

My advice for anyone yet to interview is show your passion/affinity for Ross, dont be afraid to name specific initiatives at the school that attracted you to it, be casual but also professional. My experience with Ross students have shown them to be folks who are very accomplished but also down to earth, so as much as possible, convey that in your interview. All the best!

Now to wait....

Has anyway figured out a feasible solution for the loan? Is the loan with co-signer option atleast available? I'm an international applicant and I guess funding seems to be a concern at this point in time.

I assume you are referring to loans with a US co-signer? If so, yes, that option is still available. No worries about that at all. In fact, you have many loan programs to choose from if you have someone who is willing to co-sign the loan for you :-D Check out the link below :

https://www.finaid.org/loans/privatestudentloans.phtml

International students w/o a US co-signer are adversely impacted by the removal of the no co-signer loan option. As another poster has mentioned in this forum, the Finaid office is actively looking for alternatives. However, based on my last check on the Ross Financial Aid page, there were no new updates on the school's financial aid webpage. Fingers crossed for good news to come through!

Hi Guys,

I am a R2 international applicant based in London and am yet to receive interview invite. Please can someone tell me if there is still hope for getting an interview invite? I am a bit confused about the 'waves of invite' process as specified by the Ross Admission Director..

Thanks a lot,
Ash.

I think they are still going through applications. Ross sends invites in waves, according to the admissions directors blog. (soojin's blog) https://rossblogs.typepad.com/admissions/2012/01/notification-update.html

Last Friday I received a notice saying they needed a copy of my degree diploma, which I scanned and sent immediately, but I received an acknowledgement only on Tuesday (yesterday).
In the acknowledgement they mentioned " Your application is now complete, it will be forwarded to an admissions associate", which to me says, they did not read my application yet, since it was incomplete.

I'm a Consortium Ross applicant,.....I already had my interview on Jan.22,...just wondering,..when is the earliest interviewed applicants might hear from admissions? I got an email from Ross after submitting my app....and it said the following:

All Ross Consortium applicants will be notified of their Ross admission, membership, and fellowship (or other Ross scholarship award) statuses by March 15th.

So technically they could get in touch before March 15th,...was wondering if that was common or rare?

If I recall from last year, admit calls went out a day or two before the decision date. Not sure if that applies to Consortium also.

Without a non co-signor loan the Ross dream is effectively over for me! So not too hopeful/anxious on the Ross front!
