Almost at the Ross Event- Bangalore....lets see what new things we get out of the event..
Any updates on how the event went?
Off the top, Bryan was very friendly, humble and open. He repeatedly told us that Ross admissions are not about finding excuses to Ding applicants, but to evaluate the best of the lot. Some interesting points that came up -
1. Ross had an yield of over 90% last season. That is close to H/S/W.
2. The alums present all had a few years' work experience in the US (either they had immigrated with family, or received a Masters Degree and pursued a career). That may be something to worry about for fledgling applicants from the country?
3. About half the cohort present had applied in R1, but Bryan said that the volume of R2 applications is higher. However, acceptance rates are roughly the same.
4. Interview invites should start rolling out globally on the 20th, but Indian applicants can expect to hear back between mid and late next week.
