Hey shank001. Yes that mail means that your application is complete. I believe if they do require other documents, you'll get a personal mail from someone from the adcom.

I received my mail 3 days after I submitted my app  . It's an automated mail so there's a possibility that the system is overloaded.

Thanks! yeah the mail is auto generated. So they might ask for documents in case they need any.

The interviews start from oct 17th. So I expect them to start sending invites before 17th. anyone???

Oct 17th is just 5 business days away! Assuming that invites go out at least 2 days prior to the first interview slot, a bunch could go out on Monday and Tuesday...

We do prefer to have the official score report at the time the application is submitted; however, we can use your self-reported scores on your application for evaluation purposes. An official GMAT score report will be required if you are admitted into the program.

So that confirms it. Submission of Official GMAT scores at the time of submission is preferred, but not mandatory at all.

Hope it helps

Great about the GMAT. What about the TOEFL?

The application had a section which asked for your medium of undergrad education. It asked us to check a box if the medium of instruction was in English. I did.
It further said that if the answer to the above question was in the negative then you must submit a TOEFL score.

So that should be it. If your medium of undergrad instruction was in English no need for TOEFL. If otherwise, TOEFL required.

Does this solve your doubt?

A week for preparation would have been better. Still I would not have any complaints even if I get the invite on Monday or Tuesday :)

Actually, I've done the same. I also wrote to the admissions office on this. They've confirmed that I do not need to submit a TOEFL score. I was just curious to see if anyone else had done the same and what reply they got.

Initially I had a doubt as other Masters programs (I know specifically about non-MBA programs) that require a TOEFL score for Indian applicants even if their undergraduate education was solely in english.

Hi Ankur

I believe the blog only tells us that the interviews will start on Oct 17 and will go on till sometime in Nov. So we may have our interviews in late Oct or Nov.

Guys.. Since Ross adcoms are visiting India around the same time period as they are planning to send interview invites do you see any possibility of them interviewing candidates during their visit?

I have also not yet received any confirmation that my application is complete and been submitted for review.

Should I be worried? :?:

I received mine yesterday. If you're worried, send them an email. Or better still, call the admissions office when they open today.

From Soojin Kwon's blog:
Quote:
ROUND 1 ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS (WITH TEAM EXERCISE)

Friday, Nov. 7
Saturday, Nov. 15
Friday, Nov. 21
Monday, Nov. 24

ROUND 1 OFF-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS

Oct. 17 – Nov. 30
A few things to keep in mind: interviews are by invitation only. Off-campus interviews (with local alumni) are weighted equally with on-campus interviews (with 2nd year MBA students on the Admissions Committee). The team exercise is optional but highly recommended. We’ll do team exercises outside the U.S. in Round 2 in Brazil, China, India and Korea.
