You're correct, Ankur.
Ross didn't ask for any such proof and Tepper did. Tepper is the only school which asked for this explicitly. So I think the normal practice schools follow is to use the transcripts themselves.
In an effort to stay sane, why don't we share about what is our biggest career ambition by going to Ross MBA ?
Who knows by sharing about it , we might just get more clarity of our career goal to either be prepared for interview or our next round application prep.

No mail for me since the mail saying that I have submitted the application.
I did not submit a TOEFL score and have received the mail. The mails might have been released in the order they received the application. i submitted mine on the 5th.
My short term goal: Management Consulting. Talking to people, understanding their problems and providing solutions intrigues me.

Hi dear
This one just slipped out of mind. Gosh the Duke Essays are screwing with my head I mentioned the medium of my undergrad education as English, which is mentioned in my transcripts as well. I believe We do not need to submit TOEFL scores in that case. I have received the application received mail confirmation as well.
Anyways I am going to write to the adcom today. Will keep you guys posted.

We do prefer to have the official score report at the time the application is submitted; however, we can use your self-reported scores on your application for evaluation purposes. An official GMAT score report will be required if you are admitted into the program.
