I connected with the admissions team yesterday during their MBA tour event in Mumbai. The final admission/waitlisted/rejected deadline is 14th Oct. I too have applied in the early round.

No, it just shows submitted. I spoke to them about this too. She said you will get a mail in either case whether you are invited to rejected. Also, she said like she is travelling to india, other members of the admission committee are travelling to other places and hence they are not able to schedule interviews. However, she guaranteed the date of 14th oct for final decisions.
