Hi,

I had my interview on 4th February and received my decision by 13th February. I have been offered admission for fall 2105 full time MBA program. Any one else going to join Rutgers this year?. I have one more admit from university of Alberta (canada) and waiting to hear from fox and isenberg ( univ of massachusetts).

Should I go ahead with Rutgers or wait from the other two schools? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Among the options you have, IMO you should go for Rutgers :)

Wow, congrat Aleem. At the same time, you ditched me big time here. I am stilling waiting for them to get back to me and I had interview on 1/26. I guess your decision should be made based on 1) what concentration you want to pursue & school ranking 2) tuition and 3) job availability of nearby cities.

P.S: how did Rutgers contact you when they offered your admission? Was it via phone call? mail package? or email?

My application was moved from R1 to R2 since I didn't furnish my WES gpa. I had my interview in the first week of Feb and received the admit couple of days back. Anyone from India in the group yet?

Hi,

You need to create an account in wes . And choose the WES Basic, course by course evaluation package for $160. You need to send WES agency individual semester wise marksheet. Once they receive these marksheets they will take 10 days to complete the process.

Hi,
The way i look at it is, and this is the gist:-
Babson:- Great programme, Great reach, but highly independent,pricey(everything included), Somewhere down the line because of its non affiliation with a big university might lose its name.
Schulich:- Big brand value, but bigger class,competing with a lot of colleges in the east of Canada
Sauder:- Big name in the west of Canada,known world wide, but is limited to the west of Canada. Great place to study and settle down.
Fox:- Temple University is well know in the US, the program is on the upswing, but getting jobs in Philly harder for international students.
Rutgers:- The University as such is not that well known. The MBA programme is good,affordable closer to the east coast.

Hi All,

I am looking to apply to Rutgers by March 15 deadline but I dont have my transcripts evaluated yet , can anybody tell how long does this whole process of evaluation takes and will the school allow me to submit application without completing this evaluation by this deadline or they wont consider my application in this round?

Hi simplyAnuj,

If you are an international applicant, the whole WES evaluation process will take around 10 working days(~ 2 weeks)

But you can drop a mail to the university. They will evaluate your profile and mail you the admission decision(interview) once they receive your transcripts.Also note that applying early will be an advantage for this university.
