Feels like there should still be another 20-30 people on here invited to interview, just based on how many people got interviews in the last two years. I'm sure we'll see at least a few next week.
That's what I'm feeling too! Fingers crossed! Seems like it's over for today. Another <72 hrs to Monday. Ahhhhh

yeah i was thinking MIT too - what about INSEAD (currently on par 4th in FT with GSB)? anyone keen on hopping over the pond and have you thought about it? i don't want to make this a discussion that belongs in another forum, but keen to get thoughts from 'Stanford-ers' ;) (not overly keen on LBS - re Europe, most HBS/GSB kids would usually only apply to INSEAD as the fall back, and not LBS - nothing against LBS tho!)

good luck all in the final stretch this week, 30 mins till showtime!

illuminator , I am considering putting in an application to LBS in R2. Why do you think INSEAD is better than LBS? I thought it's on par with HBS/GSB?

nah I think LBS is solid clearly they're all in the top

Few things from my point of view:

- LBS is more finance focussed, INSEAD more consulting. If i had to do a 2 year programme it would NEED to be a US powerhouse. hands down. Otherwise, a 1 year at INSEAD is the next best alternative.
- Currency power - paying in pounds is more expensive than Euros. At least for me lol so i wouldn't want to study in the UK. INSEAD allows me a 5/6k gain (i.e. variance btw old GBP to EU fx rate of ~1.2 VS now around 1.4)! And done in less time/opp cost/work earlier. boom.
- More FT500 CEOs generated from INSEAD than LBS (https://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/61621620-9abc ... z3r16ImXj3)

still put in your app though, as you never know which will say yes or no lol gotta play the game

General question: does non-mbb consulting mean parthenon, deloitte, or sub 500 people shops?

Fair enough. How would you compare Kellogg/Sloan with LBS?
My primary goal in applying to LBS is to get some international work experience.
Few years of work experience across the pond would come in handy later on the career don't you think?

MV23, they're all awesome schools ;) and I think LBS would def add to the international experience! Def apply but I would strongly consider INSEAD as well as its the most international of any programme around incl M7. INSEAD also allows an 8 week internship if you take the 12 month programme.
Sorry didn't reply in the relevant thread as an on phone!
