Does anyone know if they will they send out more interview invites for round 2? Or will they have done most of the invites by now?

Going by the last year's data, invites keep coming till the end. They even come on the last day. So there's some hope, even though it's little. Hope this helps!

Per my comment above, they keep sending them out until the very last day of their stated range.

Best of luck!

Anyone apply R1, got told they were in wait pool with opportunity to interview in subsequent round and get an R2 interview? Are we judged on any separate criteria or can we be expected to get the same interview experience as those who applied in R2?

You would be judged on the same criteria overall. You would have the same interview experience, and your alumni interviewer would not know that you had originally applied in R1.

Hope that helps and best of luck!

Do you mean for today? I haven't seen anything on clear admit yet. Although it could still be updated later today

For anyone out there who had their heart set on Stanford GSB, and only Stanford GSB, but just learned they were denied admission this year: for what it's worth, I was denied the first year I applied to the GSB as well, but was admitted (and attended) the following year. It is absolutely possible. You'll need to understand and address any weaknesses in your application over the next year - whether that means retaking tests, taking on additional leadership roles inside and outside of work, showing quantifiable achievements, or getting more personal and crafting even more compelling essays. You also might want to explore additional schools as well.

We at Stratus Admissions can help and would be happy to provide a 30-minute free consultation to look at your specific profile and answer any questions in more depth. If you are interested, you can sign up here.

Hi everyone!

Should interviewed candidates expect calls one day before deadline? I even read somewhere that they start two days before but wanted to confirm. Anyone with R1 experience or previous years?

Good luck everyone!

From the decision tracker, I see for Round 1, a few internationals have received the admission calls a day before the deadline but most of the calls went out on the day of the decisions.

Hi mkca - First off, congrats on getting on their waitlist! Your chances depend on several factors. First off, you are now being compared to the new candidates they are seeing in R3. Your chances also depend on their yield (what percent of admitted applicants accept their offers), and melt (what percent of applicants who accept offers later back out). Typically, though not always, they do accept some people off of the waitlist, and do so as late as June or even later.

Have you identified any areas of weakness in your application that you could address? If something improves for you (a higher test score, a promotion at work, etc), let the GSB know. Best of luck to you!!
