That’s a very good point. Thank you for your great advice Joseph! What if I apply for scholarships outside school e.g. Forte foundation for women… Is it still worth it to do a 2 years MBA with scholarships? Could people take a gap year go back to the industry after first year, then come back for the second half of the MBA program?

It’s really up to you. How many years of work experience do you have? I do have to say that they don’t usually consider people with 8+ years experience for MBA. They do sometimes but the rate is low

I’ve heard people taking a gap year due to medical/family reasons with strong justifications. It’s rare that the MBA programs (for the ones I know) to grant the gap year for you to go back to industry and come back

Good to know. I have less than 7 years after undergrad…
Hope we are still young after graduating from MBA…
