I have a PhD in materials science so I definitely highlighted the innovation element in my application. I strongly recommend you to tie it to the impacts you made with innovations and how you innovate to change lives change organizations and change the world
again, try to tie it to the etho of GSB is very important imo
They want you to be innovative, impact driven, open minded, and inclusive. So anything that can highlight the key elements that they are looking for is good for the essays
