From professional experience, having a competing offer always works in your favor. In one of my previous roles, my former employer was slow to finalize an offer, but when I had another one from a competitor, it led to a significant stock bump. On the other hand, there was an instance where budget constraints delayed hiring decisions at a large FAANG company, and having an existing offer at least provided clarity. They mentioned they couldn't decide for at least two quarters due to these constraints. Given this, I believe it’s worth reaching out to the AdCom. The worst they can say is no, but at least it gives you control over your decision-making process. That said, I’d also recommend consulting with an admissions consultant or checking GMAT forums to see if others have successfully made similar requests. Congratulations again, and good luck

Hi everyone! I'm an MSx Round 2 interviewee. I received an admissions offer from MIT for the Sloan Fellows program. The catch is — I'll have to confirm my attendance by the 3rd of April, which is also when Stanford is releasing the MSx R2 outcomes.
I was thinking about emailing GSB AdComs to request for the early release of my results due to Sloan's offer acceptance deadline. Would anyone know whether they’ve accommodated such requests in the past? To those in the same boat — curious to know how you're handling it!
