Hi
An R2 applicant here. I had a question about the word limit in essays. I know that the long questions are 2 pages and the two short questions are also 2 pages(2 page for both the essays). My question is ,what is the line spacing for the essays. Is it 12 point font and double spaced. Please answer and correct me if I am wrong.

I used 11 pt font and double spaced.12 pt is fine too but double spacing is a must.

Wow this board is dead...any R1 candidates heard back from Tepper on admission yet? I know some schools will call admitted candidates a day or two early. Also, anybody want to share interview experiences? I know I screwed up my interview....my interview didn't really seem interested in what I had to say. I'm just hoping for waitlist right now

Hi
Tepper application allows one to add up to three recommenders. I wanted to know how many did every one add. Those who have been invited to interview, maybe they can answer my question.
Thanks in advance

few enquiries
@ all participants

How many of you attempted the ethics essay?

How many of you forwarded 3 recommendations?

If you had to put a number on it, how many words could you possibly fit in a 2 double spaced page essay?

Did any of you unearth any distinctive attributes of the program during the course of your research? If so , would you be generous enough to share it with the forum?

cheers
ammin

hmmm? Three recs are not required? Two are required, but third one is optional?

Hi Guys-

I find the tution fee of Tepper is quite high even when compared to top schools. The website says tution for Fall 2010 (First Year):$50,675 & Fall 2011 (Second Year) $52,195 and the over all annual expense is $73,565. Any specific reason, which I couldn't consider, for such high tution fee.

@International applicants: Anyone facing hard time figuring out how to fund the MBA expense, considering there is a US co-signer required for US fin. instituion loans?

I see there is an option for HSBC loan from India specially for Indian students, but to find $ 140,000 loan credit worthy Indian co-signer wouldn't be that easy either.

Please share your views here or PM me.

- thanks

I am Indian R2 applicant and I am also worried about the expenses at Tepper.

I tried to find from a current student the reason for high tution fee and found that there isn't any specific reason for it. I mean there is no special facility to justify high fee and infact the campus is small and the facilities such as locker e.t.c. are limited.

He further explained that the over all annual expenses of $70000+ include other personal expenses such as housing, which you could cut down little. But then there is not much that we can save in other miscellaneous expenses. Besides, there are other expenses for facilities such as Club and Student Treks, which are ususally not mentioned in the overall budget.

Any more views guys? I guess it is important for all of us.

As far as I know, Tepper has one of the highest class hour/year ratio.
