ok so i just filled out my app for R2. but nowhere in the application does it ask for community involvement either during college or after. can this be? or did i miss it?
I applied 1/1/10 ... one of my recommenders is being unresponsive, but since the other two submitted theirs, my application is technically complete. My status says "We've received all of the items needed to review your application for admission." Will this status change when they are actually looking at it, or is this all I will see until they make a decision?

You said that two recommenders submitted, but one is being unresponsive. You only need two recommendations, not three.
Also, the status should change in a few days to say something like forwarded for review.
My recs are in, but my resume and transcripts show up as missing. I called to verify resume, and it says they have it. so just waiting for GIAC I guess now.
i probably should have asked this question before i sent my transcripts this morning. do they have to be in the original sealed envelopes from the university? mine were "official" but i opened them first.....
You can add me to the roll-call. I guess that makes me the elusive #40
I had my application in 11/15; had my final recs in by 12/1. Contacted for an interview on 12/4 and interviewed 12/14 with an alum. GMAT was Q44/V42 combined 710
I live in SF now, but was a UT alum from 2006.
I'm holding my breath that I hear back shortly....

Sorry bud, #40 still evades us ... Roll Call Updated
Congrats on the interview invite and congratulations to everyone who has been accepted thus far.
I am starting to get pretty nervous myself as I interviewed on 11/23 and many who interviewed on or after have heard back. I think my major regrets are failing to properly sell myself in the interview, and not managing my recommedations properly (I probably should have provided a bit of coaching... live and learn.)
I guess on the plus side I haven't been dinged yet... so I am crossing my fingers for at least the waitlist.
I'm also a R1 applicant that is waiting to hear. I got everything in around Nov. 1 and then had my interview on the 9th of December. I am hoping to hear something this week....pins & needles.
