So unfortunate to see McCoy go down so early last night... :( But I think Longhorn football will be fine for the next 2 years with Gilbert.

Let's hope the defeat doesn't put the adcom in a bad mood...

Hi, all. Long time troller, first time poster.

I submitted all my materials to McCombs on 10/23 and interviewed on 11/18 yet I still haven't heard anything back yet or had any update on the status check sites.

Does anyone else have the same timeline as me who hasn't heard back yet? I know they said I'll hear back by 1/30, but it seems like a long wait for one who submitted/interviewed so early.

If you check the 1st page, it has detailed information on other applicants and their interview/admit/ding dates.

1. Neither of my transcripts appear to follow the electronic submission format UT uses...so I will have to mail them. Doesn't my having possessed them make them unofficial?

2. Also re: transcripts, the application plainly says all transcripts, but then i read a pdf that said to exclude community college transcripts (took biology at a CC during summer after my freshman year).

So I wake up this morning in Pasadena feeling robbed of a national championship. I fly to Vegas today and I get the only call that can cheer me up...I'm in! Long wait for an 11/2 interview. Blackjack table here I come

I dont know the answer to your second question, but if you mail a sealed transcript that you haven't "tampered" with, it is still considered official. It should be in a sealed envelope from your college. Mine had a seal on it that said "disregard if seal is broken".

I got a call with an admit this morning as well. It caught me off guard, because I thought that I would have to wait longer to hear anything. I submitted on the first deadline and interviewed off-campus with an alum on Dec 15th.

Regarding transcripts, I sent all of them and mentioned all schools on my application, but my status place only asks for UG and my extension ones. I think they only look at last two years of grades.

Anyways, I haven't been invited to interview yet and I'm wondering if should just take it as a ding? I submitted my app and all my materials were received 12/17. I know the holiday break is in between those two dates, but shouldn't have I been invited to interview in that time?

I wouldn't lose hope yet... I submitted my app on 12/2, last rec in on 12/14. My transcript was delivered 12/7 but it didn't update on the status page until 12/21. I haven't heard anything yet either. I will start to worry though if I don't hear anything this coming week...
